It was lovely to see the creative efforts of the children today during Museum Day. Year 4 enjoyed a Roman day whilst Year 3 went back in time to the Victorian era bravely tasting ‘gruel’ and being rewarded with a delicious afternoon tea! Today marked the day that some children tasted crumpets for the first time! Year 6 wowed us with their engineering skills by presenting their ancient water harvesting technology. Year 5 showed off their clay skills designing Viking artefacts whilst Reception created a mammoth Monster display. Years 1 and 2 celebrated their themes through some amazing homework pieces based on the the Tudors and the theme of toys. I was was so impressed with all the children’s efforts. Another successful Museum Day!
