Our children had a fantastic time with their science experiments this week.
As part of our ‘Africa’ topic this term, our children attended a couple of dance workshops, led by a drummer and a dancer from Ghana.
We have launched our Science Week with two special assemblies. On Monday, Laura Ashfield from the Surrey Wildlife Trust visited us and inspired our children to become more aware of the wildlife in their surroundings.

Last Friday, we had a visit from ‘Fizz Pop’, who came to our school to inspire our children for science week.
This week in nursery, we have been reading the book ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ and learning all about different types of animals that live in and near the sea.
It has been a warm week and an exceptionally warm day today!
Wow! What a hot few days we’ve had in school. We’ve all tried our best to keep cool, drink lots of water and stick to the shade.
Through our association with Magic Breakfast, this week we have been lucky enough to take delivery of another book from the Marcus Rashford book club.
This week in Nursery we have been learning all about different types of construction vehicles.
Last week we had a Jubilee party in Gold class. In preparation for the Jubilee we made crowns and flags, which we got to wear for the party!
Last week, the children at Beulah were very busy making crowns and flags for our Jubilee celebrations on Thursday.
This week we have been thinking about imitation and how we can use this skill to improve our thinking in different subject areas and considering who might be a good choice to imitate.
On Monday, Year 3 and 4 golfers visited Addington Court Golf Club for a competition.
