BINF – Learning about Diwali
Over the past week, children at Beulah have been learning about the Hindu festival, Diwali.

This week our Year 1 children walked to Upper Norwood Library.
Poetry is a wonderful gift to share. Poems can take us on a journey through history and the seasons, festivals and traditions from many different countries, cultures and religions.
Year 3 children across the Academy have recently studied a poem by a famous author named Robert Louis Stevenson.
Year 6 have been studying artwork and poetry based around themes of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
Last week, Year 6 were lucky enough to visit the West End to see Matilda the Musical.
Last Friday our Year 1 children walked to Thornton Heath Recreation Ground.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our Year 2 curriculum meeting this week.
Today, the school council held their first, official meeting, where the children were able to share their hopes for this year.
