Please read on for news of another packed week at Atwood.

Our aptly-named Year 1 classes – Shooting Stars and Astronauts – had a wonderful time learning about space at the Science Museum yesterday.

On Wednesday, this week the children downed tools and stopped writing. 

This week, the year 6 netball team played their first league matches of the season.

December is here, and Christmas Making Day is a fantastic way to kick off the festive month! 

Year 3 had a fantastic time on their trip to Crystal Palace park this week.

Two of our Year 1 classes enjoyed a day packed with activities at the Science Museum.

On Wednesday Year 6 were fortunate enough to visit Fairfield Halls to see the Whitgift autumn show.

Year 6 were lucky enough to have PC Rick Flynn and PC Martin Allen come in and discuss issues the children might face with their transition to Secondary School.

Nursery children at Little Ecclesbourne have been busy working as scientists.

We capped off another busy week with a very well-attended dads’ breakfast and all the children dressed in mufti today.

Our YR1 classes had a fabulous time this week on their Moon immersion day.

Road Safety Week We have been focusing on Road Safety this week at Cypress and the children have enjoyed learning more about keeping safe on our roads.
