We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. On Wednesday 13th November, the children and staff at Whitehorse Manor Junior School celebrated the meaning of RESPECT for our individuality and expressed this through wearing ‘odd socks’.
Atwood Visit the Gurdwara In Year 5, we have been learning about Sikhism.
Today, both our year 1 classes had the most exciting adventure as they jetted off to the moon.
As the first term continues, we are continuing to embark on an incredible journey of learning and creativity!
I was glad to be invited today, for the 20th time, to the Whitehorse Manor Junior School remembrance day service around the war memorial at the front of the school.
Our YR1 classes had a fabulous time today on their Moon immersion day.
On Tuesday, Year 1 visited the Science Museum and had lots of fun.
This week children in Reception have been sharing the story ‘Naughty Bus’.
Since coming back from half term we have been busy doing lots of learning in nursery.
We began the week at Lower site with a special ‘Speak out and Stay Safe‘ assembly.
In Reception and Nursery, the children have been thinking about Fireworks and Remembrance day.
A new half term comes with lots of educational learning both from within the classroom and out in our Forest School.
This week in Reception, we have been learning about so many different things.
Autumnal Learning This time of year offers up a plethora of learning opportunities with all the changes in nature, as well as special events such as Diwali, Halloween, Bonfire Night and Remembrance.
