Year 3 got wet at the Wetlands Centre
Children got the surprise of their lives when they got to meet Ava, a half girl half osprey, from a story they read in class before visiting the London Wetlands Centre.

Year 2 had a wonderful visit to Broadstairs beach this week.
Last week, Year 6 travelled to Chessington World of Adventures. We had a wonderful day swooping through the air like bats on the Vampire ride, spinning and twisting on the Cobra and being swung like pirates on the Blue Barnacle.
Well done to Yellow class who performed amazingly in their class assembly, sharing their learning about minibeasts.
We had such fun in the nursery last week, we were learning all about the environment.
EPS shone in last week’s prestigious Croydon Interschool Athletics Competition. Following a two year hiatus, the children could not wait to return to the summer showpiece and there were some fantastic results.
Children and families alike had a fantastic time at this week’s sports days.
Yesterday and today have been our Upper School Sports Days. We have had tremendous fun!
Today was the day when our ‘decennial’ (it means every 10 years – I Googled it!)
If your child likes fire engines, Croydon Fire Station is hosting its annual Open Day on Saturday 2nd July 2022 from 11am until 4pm.
This morning our Reception children joined KS1 in the hall for Rainbow assembly for the first time, in preparation for their transition to Year 1 in September.
Continuing on with our ocean theme this term, last week we read the story book ‘Barry the Fish with Fingers.’
All of last week, EPS pupils carried out lots of amazing scientific experiments.
In Asteroids class, the children have been looking at the diet of people in the Bronze Age.
This week has been very exciting for reception as we released the butterflies we have been taking care of.
