What a busy start to the term Yellow Class have had! The children have been very brave and mature and have settled into Reception very well and have been making lots of new friends. We have been participating in lots of different exciting activities, such as writing our name, making colleges of our marvellous faces on paper plates, rainbow experiments, Paper Mache modelling, learning all about the numbers 1-5, with the help of our number blocks and resources. Every morning, we look forward to our phonic lessons, where we learn new phonemes each day. Using our newly learnt phonic knowledge, we are now learning to read CVC words such as pat, sit and dog; how exciting! What fun we have had so far in Yellow Class.
