We have had a wonderful ‘World Book Week’ at Beulah. We started the week with a fabulous ‘World Book Day’ parade and on Tuesday we had the amazing author Grace Francis visit our school. The children loved her retelling of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and enjoyed singing along and joining in with the authors actions to the story. We had one of our parents come in to school and tell the story of St David’s day and she gave each class a special book of the story to read. We have had many wonderful ‘Book in a Box’ creations and the teachers will be choosing the winners on Monday. Our author of the half term is Joseph Coelho – please look out for this author if you visit Thornton Heath library with your child.
