Over this half term, the children have been learning how to stay safe! They have had the NSCPCC ‘PANTS’ assembly and an assembly on Road Safety, both have been followed up in class teaching. The reception classes have been very sensible when practising crossing the road safely in their outside area. Over 120 children entered the ‘Brighten Your Bag’ road safety competition. The teachers had a very difficult job choosing just three entries to go forward to Croydon Council’s Road Safety Team because the standard was very high and many entries were very creative and original. The winning entries chosen were by Jemel in Indigo class, Daniel in Purple Class and Maria in Yellow Class – well done!!
