Year 2 have been watching a short film, ‘Baboon on the Moon’, as part of their literacy work. Baboon on the moon is more melancholy than the other stories that we normally read in school. The children have loved watching the short film and it has inspired a lot of discussion about emotions. We thought about the setting and feelings in the film and created a list of questions for the baboon. Today the baboon descended from the moon and was interview by the children. The children had great questions and the baboon thoroughly enjoyed his time at Beulah.
