Year 4 had a fantastic session with the school’s head chef, Morad, who gave them a lively reminder about the Eatwell Plate and introduced them to the importance of using their senses when exploring food. The children eagerly put this into practice, using sight, smell, touch, and taste to try a selection of both familiar and unfamiliar foods. Many were pleasantly surprised by what they discovered, finding new flavours they didn’t expect to enjoy. A big thank-you to Morad from the kitchen for delivering such an amazing, hands-on experience. The children are already looking forward to what the next session has in store!
