Year 5 started the new term with an exciting culinary lesson, where they created a fabulous fruit salad. As part of their new literacy unit ‘Spooky Soup’, the children followed a set of instructions, noting the key features and choice of vocabulary to make a lovely fruit salad. These newly acquired skills will serve as a foundation for crafting their very own set of instructions for a spooky-inspired recipe later in the unit.
