Last week, as part of our RE learning about Hinduism, Year 4 visited the Sakthy Ghanapathy Temple in Thornton Heath. We listened to a talk about the Hindu faith and had a tour of the temple. We recognised lots of the features of the temple from our learning at school, including shrines with statues of the many gods and goddesses that represent Brahman.
