We all like to visit the seaside and Year 2 did just that. This week they have visited Broadstairs to end the term and their seaside unit of work. In a lovely little bay, children saw all the human and physical features of a UK seaside town – colourful beach huts, vendors and seagulls. The seagulls were bold but thankfully they did not steal any food from the children. While enjoying their time on the beach, the children dug the deepest holes in the sand, built sandcastles and ate loads of ice creams. Oh! It was a great time at the seaside. Just look at their faces! The seaside is truly the highlight of Year 2.
