The annual museum day was a huge success with children across the trust displaying artistic and design skills in abundance.
Reception showed off some of the monsters they had been making as Year 1 welcomed us into their toy museum. Year 2 were busy constructing burning houses for their Great Fire of London topic while Year 3 found themselves back in the Victorian era living under harsh rules. Further up the school, Year 4 were re-imagining the eruption of Mount Vesuvius for their Roman topic and Year 5 produced some excellent Viking style pottery. Finally, for their Ancient Egyptian theme, Year 6 created some haunting yet beautiful ‘death’ masks.
Congratulations to everyone for their hard work! We all hope you enjoy a well earned half term break.
