This week we have been celebrating the lives of people who have made our world great. On Monday, we started the week with a quiz and all classes were then challenged to find out about someone who has made the world great, maybe someone from the quiz or someone else that they know about. Today, we had an exciting assembly where all of our classes shared their research and talked about the exciting learning experiences related to Black History and the varied cultures of the world, reflecting our own school community. More importantly, the children thought about how great they all are and what they are going to do to make the world great in the future. The children also enjoyed fantastic story telling by Samantha from ‘Book Love’ – the travelling Multicultural Book Carnival. A big thank you to all of our parents that joined in with the celebrations.
