Children have their say on salad
Our school councillors and house captains were commissioned with an extra special project today – designing two new salads that will feature on the school lunch menu!
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Last week, Ecclesbourne’s budding athletes put their best feet forward for another great showing at Croydon Athletics.
A group of Year 6 children enjoyed a fantastic day out in London on a trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum last week.
This week, our reception children got up-close and personal with a range of creatures when Zoolab came in for a wild workshop.
Today, our Key Stage 1 and 2 children enjoyed a rousing musical extravaganza from Playground Proms.
All awoke refreshed this morning – this group will go down in history as the best first night’s sleep at camping, ever!
This morning, excitement was in the air as we waved goodbye to our Year 6 children who are off on school journey to Cuffley Camp.
Our Year 6 children have worked so hard this year and gave their all in the recent SATs assessments.
Now in its seventh year, the Young Artists’ Summer Show is a free, open submission exhibition for students aged 4–18 studying in the UK.
Netball at EPS has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and we have now established ourselves as one of the strongest teams in the borough.
This morning,Ecclesbourne held a very eggciting assembly. For the past two weeks, we have been collecting donations of Easter eggs from our lovely families and selling raffle tickets to hopeful children.
Last Friday saw an action-packed end to the week as our EPS netballers took on the staff at home followed by two teams from Norbury Manor.
Today, Ecclesbourne was a sea of colour as children and staff wore something red with odd socks to support both Comic Relief and World Down Syndrome Day.
Every year, it is always a joy to see so many of our children and staff embracing World Book Day with a variety of creative costumes, and 2025 has been no exception.
Today, Ecclesbourne was joined by award-winning author, Andrew Clover. Andrew writes the ‘Rory Branagan: Detective’ series which now has seven books published.
