Our nursery children had a very special visit from Pets on the Green and what a fabulous animal encounter it was!
Ciera and her team came into the classroom with a vast array of pets and the children in our nursery were ready to get very hands-on.
The children learnt that there are so many different animals that can be kept as pets, and how each different animal may need different food, housing, handling and care. The children were so gentle with the pets and were so enthusiastic to handle snakes, lizards, rabbits and more. They also were able to hand-feed some of the animals and a fantastic time was had all round, so much so that what was meant to be a one-hour session went on for nearly two!
