This week in Year 1 we have been very lucky to have two fantastic toy workshops! On Monday we had a a special visitor from the Toy Museum who bought in some toys for us to explore. We saw a 140 year old doll and a 65 year old teddy bear! We had a go using Russian motion dolls and even a wind up train! We used all of the things we learnt to write a non-fiction fact file about our favourite toy!
On Thursday we had a visit from a drama teacher where we pretended to be toys in a museum. We became our favourite toy and helped stop Peyton Pixel from closing down Mrs Tuppence’s toy shop. We had a fantastic time!
