We had a very festive start to the day at Cypress Lower as it was Year 1’s turn to put on their Christmas performance to a packed hall of parents and carers.
Each class performed a poem and song showing great confidence and prosody. We heard some Christmas classics such as ‘Last Christmas’ and ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’. The children finished their performance with the whole year group singing a rousing rendition of ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’. Well done to the Year 1 team for working so hard with the children to produce such a great performance.
A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who were able to join us for being such a fantastic audience. We are so proud of all our children for the confidence and resilience they showed when performing on stage.
