Thank you to all of you who were able to join the PTFA for their AGM on the 10th October at the Upper School. We have attached the slides from the meeting below. The events last year raised £14,788.24 for the school through multiple events. This has enabled the PTFA to fund:
- A library refresh;
- Book Week Author Visits for all year groups;
- Improvements to the Upper Site garden;
- Uniform Storage on both sites;
- Renovations to the play area outside Little Cypress;
- Year 6 end of Year celebrations;
- Theatre arts resources;
- Theatre trip contributions;
- First Aid Courses.
This academic year we welcome Emma Pound as the new Chair of the PTFA and Melissa Harwood as Vice Chair. They are joined by Suzette Diaz as Secretary, Rhiannon Price as Trustee and Eilidh Pollard as Treasurer. We look forward to working with you and thank for giving up your time to continue to raise valuable funds for the Cypress community.
We would also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our outgoing committee Laura Good (Chair), Melanie Ellison (Vice Chair), Miranda Bradley (Trustee) and Chanelle Thornton (Treasurer) who have worked tirelessly over a number years fundraising for the PTFA. You have made a huge difference to our children and families!
