Every week, we are lucky enough to have a visit from our reading dog-Karma. She is a beautifully behaved black Labrador, who comes to hear the children read aloud.
We feel this is so important and builds the children’s confidence when reading (something that can be challenging and difficult for some). Karma brings a sense of calm and an environment that just allows each child to read a book confidently with no judgements made.
At Beulah Infants and Nursery, we want to encourage Reading for pleasure and a love of reading- Karma is a great help with this!
