Sporting Superstars at WHJUN
After weeks of training and practice, the WHJUN Athletics Team arrived at Croydon Sports Arena.
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

This week at Ecclesbourne, we have been celebrating the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Empire Windrush.
As a result of our collaboration with the P.I.G. charity and their allotment project, some of our Year 6 pupils were lucky enough to go and visit Mrs Burney’s Bees in Frylands Wood this week.
On this beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, it was a pleasure to see so many of our pupils making the most of the weather to enjoy learning outdoors in the sunshine.
To round off a busy week, Year 5 children at EPS took part in a construction workshop delivered by Robyn from Procur3d Consulting Ltd.
Whole Class Reading in Year 5 I visited Lavender Class this morning to join in with their Whole Class Reading session, in which the children were focussing on ‘When the Sky Falls‘ by Phil Earl.
Today, Year 5 were lucky enough to experience some incredible STEM workshops delivered by Robyn from Procur3d Consulting Ltd.
Year 5 find themselves in a ‘sticky situation’. They have taken on the task of looking after stick insects.
Year 5 Right Track Programme Groups of year 5 children have been taking part in workshops focused on emotional wellbeing, building resilience, and developing self-esteem and confidence.

The Boys’ Football Team played Gresham on St Patrick’s Day. This was a stunning away match, but it is fair to say that Atwood struggled against a stronger Gresham side.
