As part of the Year 3 Thematic topic, Like A Rolling Stone, we were visited by two people from the Mesolithic period of the Stone Age. They came to Whitehorse Manor Junior School and lived in their animal-skin yurt for 3 nights. When the children visited them, they learnt all about the different periods within the Stone Age and how the people of those eras developed tools, shelters, clothes and hunting skills.
As a result of this amazing experience, the children have written fantastic non-chronological reports on what life was like in the Stone Age.
We hope that you enjoy the pictures and the children’s writing.
