Our three classes had a warm welcome at the library this week. The children enjoyed listening and joining in with a funny story read by Alex, the librarian. After browsing the vast range of books, each child borrowed a book to take back to class. The walk was the opportunity for us to study the physical and human features in our local area. In their follow-up work, children produced some amazing maps of the route we took.
