Moon Day was a memorable end to our topic about the first moon landing. After blasting off from Cypress Space Centre, children loved exploring messy play textures linked to the moon surface. They had a picnic on the moon and yes… There was some sighting of an alien called Blobollo. How wonderful it is that our Year 1 children managed to communicate with them and ask them some pertinent questions! Lots of laughter involved and even some singing together!
