CYP Lower: Year 2 taking in the sights of London!
Last week Friday, Year 2 at Cypress Primary visited London and we walked well over 13,000 steps in total!
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

Today at Ecclesbourne we were very lucky to have published author, Kimba, visit and work with our upper Key Stage 2 children.

As part of our Book Week celebrations, another fantastic author visited Ecclesbourne today.
Yesterday, we launched our ‘Book Week’ celebrations in style at Beulah.
Yesterday, children at Whitehorse Manor Infants celebrated World Book Day. It was great to see all the children dressed up in their favourite book characters.
Today, Miss Tye launched the opening of the Reading Café, located within the school library.
On Friday, Year 6 visited the National Gallery to learn all about Ancient Greece and their myths and legends.
MUSEUM DAY YEAR 5 After studying and learning all about our History topic-‘The Vikings are Coming’, year 5 had an amazing display of all the fantastic work created by the children.
Today we celebrated World Book Day at Whitehorse Manor Junior School with some very well disguised pupils and staff members.
What a delight to be visited by rapper and author Breis today.
We said goodbye to our lovely colleague Mrs. Sales at Ecclesbourne on Friday as she leaves us for retirement by the sea.
