We Love Reading at EPS
At EPS, we love our reading mornings in Key Stage 1!.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Dear Year 6 parents and carers, Following some requests, please find attached a presentation explaining all about this year’s Key Stage 2 SATs tests which Year 6 children will be sitting from Tuesday 9th May to Friday 12th May.
The Maypole makes an early appearance Year 1 have been learning some festive dances around the maypole.
Last week in nursery we started learning about our new topic, transport.
Atwood’s Year 2 Classes ‘travel’ to the Seaside On Wednesday 19th April, the British seaside was brought to Atwood!

This week in Reception, we have started our new topic entitled ‘Once Upon A Time’.
This week in nursery we have been reading the book ‘We all go travelling by.’
It has been a fantastic first week back and the children and staff have all returned refreshed and ready for a new term.
How incredible to think that we are now in the Summer Term!
We’d like to wish Seve a very happy 2nd birthday! Everyone at Cypress loves Seve and he had a paw-sitively fantastic day celebrating with his friends, enjoying extra cuddles and treats.

Year 5 find themselves in a ‘sticky situation’. They have taken on the task of looking after stick insects.
Year 5 Right Track Programme Groups of year 5 children have been taking part in workshops focused on emotional wellbeing, building resilience, and developing self-esteem and confidence.
