This week in Reception we celebrated Lunar New Year with stories, music and crafts. In literacy we read Peepo, and discussed how things are different now from the past. They enjoyed learning a bit about history and joined in with the story. They showed curiousity and excitement throughout the week at school.
In Maths this week the children recapped partitioning the numbers 5,6 and 7 using practical resources. They exolored different ways to make each number and confidently identified one more up to 5, showing growing number knowledge and enjoyment in their learning.
