The parents and carers of the children in Little Cypress were out in force yesterday to come and watch Rainbows and Nursery perform their Christmas songs. We got all the festive feels from their wonderful renditions of Jingle Bells, Little Donkey, When Santa Got Stuck Up The Chimney, Five Mince Pies in a Baker’s Shop, Christmas Has Started and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Even our very youngest children sang the songs with confidence and it certainly made us all feel very Christmassy!
A huge thank you to all the dedicated staff in Little Cypress who cheerfully practised the songs with the children. It has been such a privilege getting to know all the children this term and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful 2023.
As you will all know, Miss Shadbolt will be leaving us tomorrow for pastures new and I know you will all join me in extending our very best wishes and huge thanks for all she has done for the children at Cypress over very many years. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
