This half term, Year 3 has had the opportunity to visit the Buddhapadipa temple in Wimbledon as part of our RE topic of Buddhism. As soon as we got there, we were struck by how beautiful the building was and we loved exploring the peaceful gardens that surrounded it. Whilst we were there, we learnt all about the origins of Buddhism and the religion’s core beliefs. We even had a go a meditating! Overall, it was a very calming and lovely day, where we learnt a lot about the Buddhist faith.
