Yellow class have had such a fun, busy week! We have been reading the book ‘Naughty Bus’ by Jan Oke, what a naughty bus he is! After reading the book, we wanted to make our own buses, so we used a range of different materials to make our masterpieces. We can now write the word ‘bus’ independently using our sounds! In maths we have been learning all about more than, less than and equal to. Using foam bricks, we built towers with our friends to compare different amounts to see who had more than, less than or if they were equal, we had such fun! Yellow class learnt all about the importance of remembrance day and we carried out a number of activities to show our respects, such as making poppies, playdough poppies, painting poppies and handprint poppies. Lest us forget.
