All of the children in year one and year two had great fun on their individual sports days, even though the sun failed to arrive! They had great fun in the sack races, demonstrated excellent balancing skills in the egg and spoon races and ran with great speed in the relay races. However, the most popular by far was the sponge and water relay although we couldn’t get as wet as we would have done if it had been hotter! A big thank you to all of the staff for organising the events and to our many parents/carers that joined us to cheer the children on – I’m very glad that you all survived the very competitive egg and spoon parent races!
