Today was the day we’ve all been waiting for… CYPRESS LOWER SPORTS DAY! This morning we saw Nursery and Reception bouncing, running and balancing their way around the field as they all had a go at the exciting activities. This afternoon it was time for Year 1 and Year 2 to showcase their sporting skills. We saw some amazing perseverance from children as they kept going, even when they found some of the sporting activities tricky. There was a brilliant turnout from parents, carers and family members today, who cheered the children on and very enthusiastically participated in the parent races and tug of war. Next week we will share details of how families can view and purchase any photos taken today by our professional photographer, with 50% of the proceeds going to the PTFA. HUGE thanks to Ms. Ung and Ms. Chapman for organising Sports Day and to our wonderful staff for supporting the children today.
Well done to the children in Yellow class for their fantastic class assembly on Thursday.
