ATW Newsletter 19th September 2025
We are now well and truly back in to the swing of things at school and the children have been immersing themselves in the new learning in their year groups.
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

We may be getting close to the end of term but there is still a lot going on in school.
On 10th July, Year 2 had their seaside trip to Broadstairs beach.
This week we have survived a heat wave and been very impressed by Year 6 on the stage.
We finished the week with a sports day full of fun but there has been a lot going on everywhere else too.
This week, the sun came out and temperatures soared but through it all, the children were still focused on their learning.
Last week, Year 3 took part in a wonderful Stone Age workshop in a tent on the field.
The week has been jam-packed with visits and visitors. Children have been to the farm and to London and we’ve had snakes, spiders cockroaches and even cavemen come to see us in school.
On Monday, Year 3 took part in a special Buddhism workshop to help us learn more about this peaceful religion.
The children have returned from their break refreshed and raring to go.
The half term has flashed by and we are already at the holidays.
Yesterday, Year 2 became scientists and explorers on their school trip to the beautiful Morden Hall Park.
