BRIG-Mini Marathon
This term, children were excited to receive their Mini London Marathon badges.
We are looking to appoint newly qualified and experienced teachers across The Pegasus Academy Trust.

Thornton Heath Community Action Team (THCAT) have undertaken many projects since 2015 to make Thornton Heath cleaner, greener and better!
Last week, Miss Vadia asked staff to share with the children the funniest places they have been caught reading!
Today, the children in Ash class enjoyed a Tudor Day! They had a busy day that involved welcoming and interviewing a King, performing, dressing up and creating their own Tudor portraits.
What a great week it’s been in school! We’ve enjoyed odd sock day to celebrate uniqueness, had a Pudsey Bear hunt and biscuit sale for charity and generally enjoyed basking in the warm and friendly atmosphere that’s been promoted through discussions around being a good friend and showing we care.
Today, years 3-6 at Brigstock thoroughly enjoyed taking part in workshops for the Lion King!
Yesterday, staff and children at Brigstock and WHJUN main site celebrated uniqueness by wearing odd socks.
Today, staff and children took part in a moving remembrance assembly and observed a two minutes silence.
Today Banji Alexander visited our school. He is an exciting new author who came into school to share his debut book, ‘Lockdown Looms: Reggie’s Birthday Party’.
A big thank you to all the parents who donated cakes this week, we raised £130 for MacMillan Cancer Support through our school Bake Sale.
This year a number of pupils from Brigstock attended a gardening club at Lion Road Allotments.
Today we said good bye to our Year 6 children. It was lovely looking back through the years during the Leavers Assembly and remembering some of the experiences that the children had whilst at Brigstock.
Year 2 enjoyed a lovely day at the beach (except for being accosted by sandwich stealing seagulls!).
For their Blue Bead treat Year 6 decided to enjoy a water fight.
Year 5 and 6 children, Miss Hall and Miss Surrey have enjoyed working alongside the Green Project at Bensham Allotments.
