BINF- Ready, Steady, Gold!
What a fantastic start to the new summer term! Upon our return to school, and to our surprise, our garden looked beautiful with the flowers blossoming.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Gold class have had a wonderful Spring term hearing and learning about different traditional stories.
It has been a very exciting first two weeks of the Spring term in Gold class.
We had a very well attended ’Early Maths’ workshop yesterday. It was lovely to see how keen our parents are to learn how to support their own children develop their maths skills at home.
In Gold class, we have been learning all about colours. We have looked at and talked about the colours in the rainbow and investigated the colours of different objects.
On Monday, we introduced our Anti-Bulling / Friendship Week by wearing odd socks to school and sharing what it means to be a good friend in our whole school assembly.
Over the last few weeks in Gold class, we have been talking and learning about owls.
We would like to say a big welcome to the new pupils and their families in Gold class.
Today we celebrated the achievements of the children in Gold Class.
This year’s ESOL course, for our parents, concluded on Tuesday. The course is run by CALAT but takes place in our school, over two terms.
The children in the Gold class had a lovely time going to the park for some outdoor learning.
Today we relaunched our ’Share a Book’ session where we encourage our parents to come into nursery and share a book with the children.
What a fantastic start to our very last term! This week, we have been looking after our garden.
We are continuing to learn about transport in Gold class. This week we have been talking about how we get to school as it was ‘Walk to School’ week.
This week in nursery we have been reading the book ‘We all go travelling by.’
