Today, Gold class had a special visit from an Oral Health practitioner from King’s College. Ms Ugne talked to us about how to look after our teeth with the help of Dinky the Dinosaur. We discussed which food is best for our teeth and which foods hurt them. She reminded us that sugary treats should always be eaten after dinner and only once a week. All the children were very attentive. Ms Ugne was very pleased to hear how the children brush their teeth with their own toothbrush at home, with the help of their parents.
Ms Ugne gave the children a lovely chart to help them remember to brush their teeth in the morning and the evening.
