What a pleasure to share 4P Morgan’s Class Assembly on the Chinese New Year this morning. The children shared the story of how the years of the Chinese zodiac got their names and demonstrated the animals’ race across the river admirably, slithering along the bright, blue PE mats, before demonstrating their acrobatic skills, tumbling across the floor. Having practised for weeks, the assembly ended with the dragon parade around the Hall in time to a beating drum whilst music in the pentatonic scale was played on the chime bars. All in all, a delightful way to welcome the year of the Rabbit. Wishing you all luck in the New Year.
