On Wednesday morning we enjoyed our 2024-2025 Sports Celebration Assembly. Amongst other sporting achievements we celebrated our fantastic football team, who won their league, giving out medals and presenting their league trophy. We celebrated the WHJUN Athletics Team who went to the Croydon Schools sports event this summer: Zahd, Noah, Neijhan, Treyvon, Janiel, Cairo, Nathaniel, Romane, Yusuf, Israel, Santrell, Jonas, Leilani, Mia-Mae, Jessica, Gabby, Alysia, Mia, Teagan, Aniyah, Deborah, Adeline, Princess, Abigail and Khaleef. We had 16 finalists in total and 2 Gold Medallist. Khaleef won the boys’ Year 5 sprint and Abigail won the Year 4 girls’ sprint adding to their silver medals from last year. All these children gave their best and made Whitehorse proud. It has been a fantastic year of sport for Whitehorse. We look forward to even better things to come next year with thanks to all the staff and parents who support our sporting endeavours.
