On Remembrance Day everyone in Britain is asked to remember the sacrifices made by others during times of war. The special day is also known as Remembrance Sunday because it falls on the second Sunday of November. Today at WHJUN, we commemorated this event by having a ‘Service of Remembrance’ in front of our memorial.
Poems and verses were read by the pupils and hymns of remembrance were sung as we paid our respect to those brave men and women. The vicar, Father Sean, and our resident veteran Pat, were both present to share in the service. Click on the link here to see all that we did on REMEMBRANCE DAY AT WHJUN
