Congratulations to the selected pupils from Year 3 and 4 who took part in the Croydon Schools’ Cross Country event at Lloyd Park on Tuesday 4th October. With nearly 200 children competing in each race, and a 1.2km course, this may have seemed like a daunting challenge for some, but our Pegasus people rose to the occasion. Everyone finished (which is a feat in itself!) with Leilani noticeably placing 28th in the Year 3 girls’ race. Special mention must also go to Nabil (Year 4) and Yusuf (Year 3) who both fell over as their races started but picked themselves up and kept going, with Nabil finishing 29th and Yusuf 48th. Well done to all the children who took part.
