This week, year 3 have been practising their oracy skills as we know that we can learn best from speaking and listening to each other. In maths, we have started the new topic of multiplication and thought it would be the perfect opportunity for us to improve on both our reasoning and oracy skills. We first looked at all of the ways you can represent numbers and then had a go a creating some arrays to discuss with each other. By rehearsing the stem sentences with each other, we had a better understanding of how addition can be linked to multiplication.
