This week, year 3 have been preparing to travel back in time to Victorian Britain. We started the week by making sandwiches for our Victorian high tea and building a 3D structure to replace the Crystal Palace. Today, the time had finally arrived to travel back in time to the Victorian era! We tried some gruel, had a go at writing with chalk and had the full Victorian classroom experience.
Before heading back to the present day, we celebrated our time in Victorian Britain with a high tea. We tried some scrumptious crumpets, jammy scones, and of course a big slice of Victoria sponge cake.
Whilst we enjoyed our time in a Victorian school, we decided that our modern-day schools were better.
