In Year 2 this week we have been thinking about seasonal change. Maria was excited to “see pink flowers starting to grow on the trees” on her walk to school each morning. Elijah explained how “animals come out of hibernation in the spring because there is now food for them to eat and it is warmer.” In the winter, we planted lots of bulbs and we’ve loved watching the flowers begin to bloom on our return to school. What differences have you noticed now it is spring? Have a look out for blossom on the trees or bright yellow daffodils growing.
