In our literacy lessons, Year 1 have been reading CHALK by Bill Thompson. In the story, children’s drawings come to life! In preparation for next week, when we will be writing our own version of the story, we enjoyed the sunny weather and used chalk to make our playground come alive. We hope that our drawings will mimic the story and rise up from the ground.
