Last week, Year 6 were lucky enough to visit the West End to see Matilda the Musical. We had a fantastic journey into London, taking in the sights including the River Thames, the Houses of Parliament, Downing Street and Trafalgar Square. We even saw the start of the changing of the Household Cavalry on Parliament Street!
When the auditorium lights dimmed and the stage came alive, the children were enthralled. They enjoyed the performance so much and spent the journey home singing the songs. Especial favourites were ‘When I Grow Up’ and ‘Naughty’. What a wonderful experience for us all!
