WHINF: Crazy Creations
Welcome to thematic week at Whitehorse Manor Infants. In Year 1, our learning has been all about recycling and for our DT project we made our own toys out of recycled materials.

This week has been ‘Thematic Week’ at WHINF. Which means that in Reception we have been concentrating on making monster masterpieces!
EPS’s football teams have been celebrating after a pair of fantastic victories.
Y5 have been super busy this week, by diving deep into the Viking world.
Our final week of this half term has been spent reading The Little Red Hen.
Willow class have been learning all about Chinese New Year. As part of their learning they created their own dragon and created a dragon dance!
Miss Fernandes set her class the the task of designing an image based around a Sikh symbol as part of their studies around religion.
Today was the final day of the Ecclesbourne Family Learning (ESOL) Course run by CALAT.
There was a buzz of excitement around Ecclesbourne today as children excitedly prepared for our upcoming Museum day.
Year 2 had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting with Mr Twit this week.
Nursery made a discovery last week when they found a turnip in their garden!
Today in Year 3, we have been learning about how to follow a set of instructions.
Today Saturn class tested Newton’s three Laws of Motion – That things stayed still unless a force acted upon them, that heavier objects required more force to accelerate and that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
It has been revealed that Mr Twit has applied for the current vacancy at EPS’s kitchen.
Last week EPS Nursery children acted out the story of The Enormous Turnip and talked about why it is important to help each other.
