Over the last two weeks in Gold class we have been reading the story ‘Owl Babies.’

In Reception, the children have had so much fun, learning and sharing about themselves. 

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our Year 2 curriculum meetings this week at Cypress Lower. 

Year 2 are learning about animals including humans in science. Over the past few weeks they have been learning about the different food groups and how we need to eat food from each of the food groups in order for our bodies to grow strong and healthy.

On Friday 20th September, Brigstock celebrated Jeans for Genes Day. Everyone (Including staff) came dressed to school in as much denim as possible.

What an incredible week we had during our Genes for Jeans event at school!

We want to say a big welcome to all of our new pupils and their families in our Nursery. 

This week, our teachers have delivered parent Curriculum Workshops for all year groups.

It has been a very busy week at Cypress with all the children enjoying learning in their new classes and making leaps in their learning. 

Today, the children and staff of Ecclesbourne put their best denim-clad foot forward in support of Jeans for Genes, raising a fantastic £236 for the charity!
