ATW Nursery News – Trains, sequences and Forest Learning
We’ve had another busy week in Nursery. We’ve been learning all about The Train Ride and designing our trains using different shapes.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. This week in Reception, the children have been busy looking at growing.
It has been lovely to see Yellow Class enjoying their calming yoga session in the beautiful sunshine with Miss Dixon, the Yoga and Dance teacher.
This week in reception we have been learning about Jack and the Beanstalk.
Sun’s out! What a change in the weather we have experienced this week!
What a lovely week Nursery has had doing lots of learning outside while the weather has been nice.
Despite being a shorter week in Reception, everybody has been very busy.
Growing, growing, all the time… We have observed a fabulous week’s worth of growth of the peas we planted last week.
Early Years has been filled with red buses and Little Red Riding Hoods this week, so it’s been a very creative and imaginative place to be.
What a fantastic start to the new summer term! Upon our return to school, and to our surprise, our garden looked beautiful with the flowers blossoming.
This week Reception have had a fun filled week learning about the fairytale ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’.
Jack and the Beanstalk What a fabulous two weeks we have had back at school in Little Cypress!
This week in Reception, we have been extremely lucky to have five ducklings staying with us.
This week we welcomed back Reception and jumped straight into our new topic ‘Once upon a time’.
Reception came back to a very eventful first week of the summer term.
