CYP LOWER: Christmas Cheer in Little Cypress!

Christmas Fun in Rainbows and Nursery

What busy bees we have been in Little Cypress! We have been beavering away like Santa’s elves in their workshop, to make our Christmas calendars, Christmas hats and Christmas bags. We even made our own eco-friendly Reindeer Food using bird seed, oats and dried cranberries to leave out for Santa’s reindeer on Christmas Eve. We used our fine motor skills to carefully scoop the reindeer food mixture in to bags. We are looking forward to our Christmas Singing Show next Wednesday, 13th December at 10.30am and 2.30pm and have been practising our songs and actions throughout the week.

Christmas Jumper day for Save the ChildrenĀ

What an incredible range of Christmas jumpers we saw today in Little Cypress! Light up ones, dinosaur ones, Rudolph ones and many, many more, not to mention the wonderful headgear some were sporting as well! Amongst all the fun we were raising money for Save the Children, to support children all around the world in less fortunate situations than our own.

Christmas Lunch day

Our full-time Friday children have enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch, with all the trimmings, today in the hall. It was decorated with Christmas tablecloths, we had crackers and we listened to some festive music whilst we ate.

Makaton Sign of the Week

As usual, we have learned a new Makaton sign to add to our ever-growing repertoire. The sign for this week is aeroplane. Click here to find our how to sign aeroplane.

Two more weeks of term to go and lots more festive fun on the horizon!

Have a wonderful weekend.
